Dog Socks are a clever way to protect your workpiece while keeping your bench dogs gripping exactly as they should. They soften the contact without sacrificing hold, and sometimes that extra bit of gentleness is exactly what the job calls for. With these 3D-printed rubber composite covers, you get reliable grip and surface protection in one neat package.
Designed and made by Thomas Lane Tools in Alstonville – these Dog Socks have been workshop tested by the HNT team on everything from Australian Red Cedar to silky oak. They’re tough, practical and a simple upgrade that makes a surprising difference to day-to-day workholding.
Sold individually or in sets of four pairs to suit 1/8", 1/4", 1/2" and 3/4" brass bench dogs, these accessories slot straight into your workflow and lift the capability of any HNT Gordon bench.
