HNT Gordon & Co. began with Terry Gordon’s search for a better way to work difficult Australian timbers by hand. Drawing on traditional plane designs, careful experimentation and years of workshop experience, Terry developed tools with the high blade angles, precise geometry and performance that became the foundation of HNT Gordon.
Today, our small team designs, engineers, makes and tunes woodworking hand tools in Alstonville, NSW. We work with beautiful Australian and exotic timbers, brass and quality steels to make tools intended to perform for generations.
