This stunning tiger myrtle 1/2" Shoulder plane has a 60 degree blade pitch which work well on end grain and is also good for planing hard, cranky timbers. The blade is also reversible to create a cabinet scraper. Used to clean up shoulders of small tenons across the grain or small rebates with the grain.
It is 135mm long x 1/2" wide x 60mm high. Weighs 0.4Kg and has a 3/16" thick x 1/2" wide Tool steel blade hardened to Rc 62-64.
