Blade: Hardened tool steel tip fixed to a 6 mm brass shaft, overall length is approximately
190 mm.
Handle: Made of wood and brass and the brass section is larger than the wood to prevent the wood wearing away from repeatedly laying it on the bench. Fits nicely into your hand.
Average weight: 350 gram
Purpose: Making small holes to insert screws as opposed to drilling a small hole. Or, marking lines with the grain or on end grain, and can be used for accurately marking a point to position a drill.
