Tasmanian Blackwood 6:1 Dovetail Marker - Thomas Lane Tools

Thomas Lane of Thomas Lane Toolworks has collaborated with respected Australian toolmakers, including Terry Gordon and his highly experienced father, to create this beautifully practical dovetail marker.

Made from high speed steel, brass and a selection of specialty wood inlays, each marker is designed to be both highly functional and a pleasure to use. The first batch has been made in a 6:1 ratio, which was the clear preference among a number of Thomas’s woodworking contacts.

The precisely machined square pin provides a reliable reference for marking the ninety degree components of your dovetails, while also serving as a very handy small square for checking across tight pins.
