Bargain Bull Oak with Sap - Plane Setting Mallet

A lovely bargain Bull Oak plane setting mallet with visible sapwood, designed for accurate and controlled blade adjustment in wooden planes. The heavier head and lighter handle provide excellent balance, and as a New Old Stock piece, it features a wooden retaining nut rather than the brass nut we now use on the newer versions.

Available at a bargain price due to its New Old Stock status and the sapwood shown in the photos. Cosmetic only, with no impact on function.
