These planes come with a comprehensive instruction sheet on setting up, using and sharpening.  Additionally more detailed information on using these plane will be placed on the website over the next few months.

Sole of a 3/4" Hollow

You will fine this design has very good shaving removal which eliminates a lot of the problems that the old hollows and rounds have.

Using a 1" Round to make a Crown Moulding.  A rebate plane was also used to make the small rebate you can see in the photo.

 Notice the shavings clear nicely from the right hand side due to the 4 degree skew in the blade.

Another advantage of the skew on the blade is to help pull the plane into the corner of the rebate being formed.
